The design of this school has been conditioned by the popular white houses of Bujalance, the old Romanesque hermitage and the magnificent views of the countryside.
The project tries to build a white architecture with courtyards creating a volume in the landscape surroundings which would be a reference point from the olive groves. It has been kept in mind the primitive constructions of country houses which were clearly recognisable in the middle of the olives groves.
The new school wants to recover the history and the reencounter with the nature. The design orders its programme inside a same volume with courtyards. It has been projected a green area where will be located the children’s area, the gardens, the vegetable patch and the leisure areas, all of them respect the same vegetation and woodland of olive trees which are already in the plot.
